APOSTLE BENITA R. PATTERSON
Benita Patterson was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. She is the devoted wife of Apostle Allen L. Patterson, and has five wonderful children and 3 grandsons and one granddaughter. With her church family as a priority Apostle Patterson spends most of her free time counseling, advising, encouraging, and praying for others.
Apostle Benita Patterson accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. However, she was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of twenty-six. As an anointed woman of God, Apostle Patterson has committed her life to ministry; feeding the homeless, evangelizing, visiting the sick and imprisoned, telling men, women, boys, and girls to come see a man “who set me free.”
Apostle Patterson has been in the ministry training as pastor for over 19 years under the leadership of Apostle Allen L. Patterson. She received her pastoral license in October 2001, which marked her first step towards the path that God laid before her. After much hard work and dedication, Pastor Patterson was ordained in July of 2004.
Apostle Benita Patterson is the senior pastor to the women of Greater Harvest Church Worldwide Ministries, Inc. Preaching, teaching, and living the word of God are her specialty! She believes that God has given us a mandate for this season to establish the five-fold ministry.
Pastor Benita accepted her call to the Apostleship, has been affirmed and continues to work selflessly in the work of the Kingdom. Actively applying Isaiah 61:1 3 to every facet of ministry.
”The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” Isaiah 61:1-3
